Beginnings

Again today I start school all over.

Monday Wednesday and Friday I have SOC 140 from 9am-9:50am. Then at 12p-12:50p I have HIS 102. Then at 5:45p to 7p Mon and Wed I have HIS 101. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have MAT 142 from 7:15p-8:30p. Thats fun.. :( Oh well. The way I see it I have one more Semester until I receive my Associates!

After that I am on to BYU! Or well.. I hope.

Finally Summer!!

I finished my Critical reading class with a B. surprisingly i got 600 out of 610 on my final. However, on my last essay the teacher only gave me 20 out of 100 because she couldnt open it. I wrote her a nasty email along the lines of.. "Considering you had more than two weeks to grade my final and other essay, I declare that the most ridiculous excuse from a college professor. And "Indicating my performance" as a 20 out of a 100 is laughable. I turned it in on time and tried several times to get the essay into your hands." so when all she responded with was "Final grades for your class have been submitted." I knew there was no way I was going to raise my grade. Any way, I passed and I am done with that class so YAY!

My final summer course is coming to an end. However, I will never do another History Hybrid class again. I feel like so much was done to fast and I missed a ton of stuff! Not cool! any way.. I still have the book though and its pretty good stuff.. its by Howard Zinn.

It seems that when we are going through school they only want us to know literally the bare necessities. Then when we grow up our child hood heros turn out to be crooks and whores. Always exciting. It just goes to show how sneaky America is. And then, when we learn things that maybe we didn't know before such as the hundreds of strikes against the Capital Animals. The way they treated our forefathers is ridiculous! I truly am amazed at how this country was ever to pull out of the lower class in the first place.

Any way.. back to the point, well my final for this history class is on wednesday. Then I FINALLY get a summer... It will last about 2 weeks. Yippie.. :) then I start my final semester to which I will be graduating in December! FINALLY!!! :)

Right vs Wrong

Okay okay... so I just finished my CIS 105(computers) class with an A! :) yay! However I am now finishing my CRE 101 (critical reading) and I just started my HIS 104 class.. My CRE teacher is the worst person ever! she is giving all her students 69's on their essays. So.. needless to say that I am getting screwed left and right.. OH well. I just have to finish my final essay due next tuesday and then I am DONE with her class.. My history 104 is going to be an extraordinarily difficult.. I have lots to do lots to do! oh man.. TONS OF READING! about 85 pages every two days.. thats going to be killer.. I'll need to seriously focus! I can do this.. I can do this!

Next semester will be loaded.. I will have Two history classes and sociology class and a math class. Well guess where i will be most of the time? In the Math lab.. I am pretty nervous about that math class.. but hopefully i will be able to do it! PRAYS REALLY HARD!!!! :) I know that I will have to rely heavily on the Lord to help me through this semester.. and my boy. Its going to be hard though because the boy and I have had a hard time being apart lately.. OH well. Focus! Back to studying.. I'll keep you posted!

Money sucks. I am sooo glad that the Government is helping me. I just paid 242 bones for 5 freaking books.. ugh.. I ONLY HAVE 2 CLASSES AND ONE OF THEM IS ONLINE!!!!! oh man..

Oh well.. Next week I start classes. I am looking forward to it. I will be able to focus one each class since.. they are my only two!! Hopefully i can do an honors project in my CIS class.. that way i can graduate with honors.. That would look really good on my college ap. :)

I'm not totally nervous.. but im looking forward to it..

Holy crow.. can I please tell you for just a moment how amazed i am? I Can't even believe how well i did. Mostly because Math was scaring me to DEATH! I had no idea that I would have actually passed with a B.. i surely thought I only would get a C. The Lord truly blessed me this semester.

Thank goodness that this summer semester is going to be really easy. I have my CIS 105 class which is all computers.. and then a Critical reading class. which is online. which I am still pretty unsure as to how that all works. But... OKAY! :)

Well.. heres to two weeks break and then i'll be back filling you in on refunds and book costs! :)

Finals Week!

OH BOY!! Finals week! Well the good things first. Last Wednesday I found out that I had a 94% in my Geology lab and that i got 225 points out of 225 on my Geology report! its really long and boring but if you want to read it, I can't let my public down again. :) Any way, so since I could not improve my grade by taking the final, I didn't have to take it! :) YAY!

Today however, I had to fork up my Rugby paper. I still have NO clue what grade i have in there. I'm hoping an A. But i'm banking on a B. EIther way, I AM DONE WITH ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!! phew.. Okay.

Tomorrow is my History final. My teacher says that we'll only be there long enough to grade the final. I have an A in that class too! :) I got a 100% on my two Veteran reports, and I gave my lesson on Abraham Lincoln for my Honors Project! :) So i will be getting $325 back for tuition reimbursement! YES! :) Happy happy happy!

Thursday is nightmare day. I have my Math final. I am not sure what my last grade was but I think it was a C. So I am really praying and holding out for that to be true.

Sooooooo Summer. I will be taking two classes for summer 1. they are CIS 105 a computer class from 8-1015 and then i have an online Critical Reading class. LAME.

Summer II I am only taking one class and that is HIS 104. so that will be awsm!

My Fall semester is as follows.. (more of a nightmare that finals in Math)

Pretty freaking Ridiculous scheduling.. but I DONT CARE!!! It's my LAST semester! HOORAY!! :)

Also I qualified for a summer grant, which gave me $2,007 and my fall FAFSA reward is $5500. So I certainly feel very blessed to have received this much help with my schooling.. Plus my sweet Boyfriend has paid for his schooling and will be EMT Certified by Aug! :) I am so proud of him.. :)

I have already let down my public..

Okay. So here it is Midterms!! I know right? Well here is the situation. So far, His and Glg are my favorite classes. My English teacher is crazy. and my math teacher is good, but difficult.

His I know i Have an A
Glg Prolly an A
Eng I wish i knew. at least a B
Math d. i know. dont make fun

So... I need to get my butt in gear for Math, and i have to get cracken on my Rugby paper AND I have been asked to be in the honors class.. so i have to do a project on Abe Lincoln. My choice of course.. but this could pose as a possible threat.

SAVE ME!!

oh and to top it off.. i have to sign up for summer courses. two classes i will have to go in and get a time override. That will be fun! Wish me luck!

I will try to be better at this as i have two summer semesters and one fall semester till i achieve my associates degree!

I honestly don't mind the C. At least I passed and don't have to take it again next semester.

I have a very busy looking schedule with a lot of Basics such as math, history and english. Not to mention the Science class. A study of Rocks will be very interesting. Why the Lab is a 2 hour and 40 min class, I dunno.. but it looks very interesting.

Why Did I start this blog?

I have decided to give my self a Final Exam.

Considering I will be in College for a long time, I have decided to put my college life down on uhm.. cyber space.

Here I will share my Hopes, Fears, Likes, Dislikes, and tips on my role as a College Kid.

Considering I have just survived my first semester In 4 years, I am going to skip the fall semester.
I will say this. I had one HORRIBLE Adviser. Because of her I missed an opportunity to have more classes this semester. Oh well. Guess I've learned from that mistake huh?

As I said I hope that I will be able to share my adventure with you all as I become a Teacher!

I will Post essays and instructor emails and even my final grades.
